EAST RUTHERFORD -- Davis Webb has unexpectedly become one of the most-discussed Giants in recent weeks, with many calling for him to see the field in the second half of the season.
The logic: The Giants are going nowhere at 1-6, Eli Manning is 36 and the team might be in position to select a quarterback high in next year's NFL Draft. They might as well see what Webb can do before making any decisions. But head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese have quickly shot down the possibility when asked, and the rookie certainly isn't about to rock the boat either.
