After falling to a 17-0 deficit to start the game, the New York Giants have gotten on the board against the Arizona Cardinals. In the midst of the second quarter, rookie quarterback Daniel Jones hit tight end Rhett Ellison for a 28-yard score. With the extra point from Aldrick Rosas afterward, Big Blue cut the Arizona lead to 17-7.
All-in-all, it’s a great ball thrown by Jones. It’s tough for any quarterback to fit the ball into a window hovered over by a cornerback and a safety over the top.
It’s Jones’ sixth touchdown of his inaugural season in the pros and Ellison’s first touchdown of the year.
