Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that the Giants are set to promote LB Curtis Grant to their active roster in time for Monday night’s game against the Lions.
Raanan adds that this move doesn’t bode well for starting LB B.J. Goodson, who is dealing with a leg injury.
Grant, 24, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in 2015. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and bounced around a bit with the Falcons, Titans, and Raiders before catching on with the 49ers last September.
