The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots, 32-29, in the preseason finale on Thursday. The Giants finish the preseason undefeated at 4-0.
The Giants fell behind at halftime, 29-10, as the Patriots scored 26 unanswered points in the second quarter.
With Kyle Lauletta quarterbacking the second half the Giants mounted a comeback. A 27-yard Aldrick Rosas field goal, a 27-yard pass to Scott Simonson and a 6-yard run by Wayne Gallman got the Giants within four, 29-25.
Lauletta hit Alonzo Russell with a 14-yard touchdown pass on the game’s final play to give the Giants the victory.
