Giants’ offensive line solution is becoming a major problem

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Giants selected Ereck Flowers with the No. 9 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft to be an answer on their offensive line. Well into his second season, Flowers is raising more questions than answers.

The massive left tackle had a night to forget as the Giants got beat by the Packers 23-16 at Lambeau Field. Flowers got called for a holding penalty — this seems to be an every-game occurrence — and also allowed two sacks.

The penalty negated a nice gain on a completion to Odell Beckham Jr. The first sack came when the speed rush of Clay Matthews beat Flowers on the edge.
