Everyone is talking about Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. Legendary quarterback Brett Favre isn’t any different. Favre discussed Jones debut on the Sirius XM NFL Radio show he co-hosts with Bruce Murray:
“Daniel Jones did exactly what he needed to do. He did exactly what they had hoped he would do given that opportunity. … The kid played great and did a heck of a job in a lot of different ways. Really from a debut standpoint it couldn’t have gone any better.”
Favre said the fact that Jones is a Giant, with the pressure of the media market and replacing Eli Manning, added to how impressive he was against Tampa Bay.
