The Giants have Saquon Barkley and, in a league where the pass has become king, they will hand him the ball on running plays as often as they can in 2019. Running backs coach Craig Johnson insists the running game will never go away completely.

“I still think it’s critical, because you like to have balance. You want to be a balanced offense, so the defense can’t attack just your pass or your run game,” Johnson said on Tuesday. “Most of the teams that have been successful and have had a chance to win it all, have had a good balance between the run and the pass.
