There are eclectic résumés, and then there is a whole different category for the work experience Joe Powell brings to the Giants.
The 22-year old cornerback, who signed Wednesday, played at Lynchburg (Va.), Globe Tech in Manhattan, semi-pro for the Portsmouth Mustangs and the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks of the Professional Football League. Most recently, he was with the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League.
On Thursday, he not only practiced with the Giants, on one play he lined up across from Odell Beckham Jr.
