Giants move on from last scout hired by Jerry Reese

Even though the New York Giants fired general manager Jerry Reese a few years ago, they still had one of his scouts as a part of their scouting department by the name of Chris Watts.

On Wednesday Neil Stratton of Inside the League reported that the Giants have parted ways with Watts after he spent the past 14 years with New York.

It sounds like Watts’ first scouting job was in fact with the Giants. Here’s what his bio says on Giants.com:

Christopher Watts is entering his 14th season with the Giants and fifth as an area scout with the Giants after spending the previous nine seasons as the team’s scout in the BLESTO scouting combine.
