The New York Giants’ running game, which is languishing at 27th overall in the 32-team league, may get a boost on Sunday with the likely return of running back Rashad Jennings, who has missed the past three games with an injured left thumb.
Jennings took part in practice Wednesday on a limited basis, but the 31-year-old said he was “excited’’ to have been able to do as much as he did.
“That’s step one,’’ he said of his work Wednesday. “Getting some good reps out there, practicing with the offense, getting in the flow of things, getting ready for Baltimore.
