New York Giants linebacker Ryan Anderson has been suspended without pay for the first six games of the regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program on Performance Enhancing Substances.
Anderson will be eligible to participate in Sunday’s preseason finale vs. the New England Patriots.
Anderson spent four seasons as a backup linebacker with the Washington Football Team before signing with the Giants as a free agent this offseason.
The 27-year-old has had a quiet training camp and preseason. He began training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) and has barely been noticed since coming off.
