Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul released from hospital: report

Ten days after injuries suffered during a Fourth of July fireworks accident led to the amputation of his right index finger, Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is reportedly out of the hospital.

NFL Network reported Tuesday that the 26-year-old has been discharged from Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where Pierre-Paul had been since July 4. A hospital spokeswoman told the Daily News there was "no information" to provide when asked if Pierre-Paul had been released, but an operator at the hospital said his name was not "in the system" which means he's no longer there.
