One day after the Giants made the surprising decision to cut 2017 third-round pick Davis Webb, coach Pat Shurmur insisted the team is still set at quarterback behind 37-year-old Eli Manning.
“At this point, we do right now,” Shurmur said Monday, when asked if the team had an eventual succession plan. “It’s just not what everyone outside our building predicted what the plan was.
“[Webb] was taking second-team reps, but I think I mentioned long ago that there was no depth chart behind Eli.
