Giants fans may be overlooking a college coach who makes perfect sense

The New York Giants will be searching for a new head coach this offseason after firing Brian Daboll last week. The Giants will hopefully exhaust all options and that should include any college coaches who might be prepared to take the leap from college football to the NFL.

One big name from college football who could be taking that step from college to the pros is Steve Sarkisian, currently the head coach of the Texas Longhorns. There was a rumor earlier in the season about Sarkisian being interested in moving on from Texas to join the NFL ranks and now Desmond Howard, a former Heisman Trophy winner and 11-year NFL veteran has chimed in on those rumors perhaps not being rumors.
