Eli Manning was voted the winner of the Bart Starr Award by the NFL players.
The honor is given to the player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. The Giants quarterback will receive the award at breakfast on Feb. 1, the day before Super Bowl LIV.
Starr’s wife, Cherry, personally called Manning to congratulate him on Friday. Bart Starr, the legendary Cowboys died in May 2019 at the age of 85.
