The New York Giants’ surprisingly successful season came to an end on Saturday with a lopsided 38-7 loss to the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round of the 2023 NFC playoffs.
Including two playoff games, the Giants finished Brian Daboll’s first season as head coach 10-8-1.
Daboll called the loss a “crash landing” for the Giants and said “I feel like crap.”
“I’m proud of the guys, the way we competed. I’m proud of the coaches, the staff members,” Daboll said after the game. “You only really do this for one reason at this level.
