Giants, Daniel Jones reach agreement on 4-year, $160 million contract

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Giants have reportedly locked up QB1 for the foreseeable future.

According to numerous reports, New York agreed to terms with Daniel Jones on a four-year, $160 million contract on Tuesday.

The Giants also put the franchise tag on running back Saquon Barkley.

Big Blue made the moves just ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline for NFL teams to use their franchise and transition tags.

Jones, who is entering his fifth season after being drafted sixth overall in 2019, will reportedly receive $82 million guaranteed.
