Rueben Randle found himself in as advantageous position as possible last season with the Giants. He lined up opposite Odell Beckham Jr. every game, starting all 16. With so much defensive attention paid to the explosive Beckham, Randle figured to thrive, as the coverage could not be pushed to his side.
He did not rise to the occasion and give the Giants what they needed, and as a result he was allowed to become an unrestricted free agent, with the Giants showing no interest in bringing back their 2012 second-round pick. Randle will get a chance to show the Giants they were wrong to give up on him, as on Wednesday he signed a one-year deal to play for the Eagles, staying in the NFC East.
