The son of former NFL linebacker Steve DeOssie, who won Super Bowl XXV with the Giants in 1991, Zak DeOssie had plenty of help on his path to a 10-year NFL career. With that in mind, DeOssie will co-host the Newark Mentoring Movement (NMM) golf outing on Monday at the Bayonne Golf Club.
"Everybody needs a helping hand through life, some more than others," DeOssie said in an interview with NJ Advance Media. "Teaming up with Newark's own Cory Booker seemed like a great way to really help the children in our community.
