Week 2 will forever go down as the game that Wan’Dale Robinson officially became an offensive cornerstone of the New York Giants.
The 24-year-old finished the game with eight catches for 142 yards and a receiving touchdown. The receiving yards were a career high in what’s shaping up to be a career year for the fourth-year pro. Still, not even Robinson’s incredible game could get this team over the Dallas Cowboys-sized hump, as they lost an overtime thriller, 40-37.
This loss will hurt more than most. They had the game in the bag — a 48-yard Russell Wilson moonball to Malik Nabers with 52 seconds left on the clock all but sealed the win.
