Giants, Bengals to hold joint practice to end training camp

The Giants will end training camp a different way this year.

According to Bengals.com, the Giants and Bengals, who face off in a preseason opening game against each other on Aug. 14, will hold a joint practice leading into that game.

This isn't something Giants coach Tom Coughlin does regularly, but it is increasingly common in the NFL. The Bengals have done this frequently, however, in part because Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis is a fan of the practice.

While details are still being finalized, a joint practice would give the Giants a change from the usual drudgery of the end of training camp.
