Giants at Packers halftime score: Giants trail, 17-6, after ugly half

The New York Giants did two things in the first quarter of their game against the Green Bay Packers that they have essentially failed to do in the first quarter of the season.

First, they got a turnover, an interception by Janoris Jenkins. The other, they got the ball to Odell Beckham Jr. after just eight targets in the first four first quarters of the season — none last week. Unfortuantely, other than a nice catch-and-run by Will Tye, Beckham was the Giants’ only receiving threat.

On defense, the Giants struggled to get pressure for most of the half.
