Giants activate TE Darren Waller from IR

Tight end Darren Waller was activated from injured reserve on Saturday by the New York Giants and will be in the lineup Sunday when they face the New Orleans Saints.

Waller has missed the last five games with a hamstring injury, something also cost him time last season when he was a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Waller’s 36 catches and 384 receiving yards remain second on the team. He said earlier in the week that he probably would not be ready to play a full game, but felt he could contribute in a limited number of snaps.
