If we accept the idea that Mike Remmers will be the starting right tackle for the New York Giants, and if he is healthy there is no reason not to, the Giants will have a competition for the role of backup swing tackle.
Chad Wheeler has experience at both left and right tackle and is the likely favorite for that role. Seventh-round pick George Afaso-Adjei and undrafted Paul Adams are in the mix for roster spots.
