Giants 53-man roster prediction: Which surprise bubble players won jobs vs. Patriots? | Lombardo's final projection

The preseason has finally come to a close, but the Giants still have some important work to do ahead of the Sept. 9 season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars at MetLife Stadium.

With Thursday night's preseason finale against the Patriots in the books, the attention of general manager Dave Gettleman, head coach Pat Shurmur, as well as the Giants' coaching and personnel staffs now turns to trimming the roster to 53 players by the 4 p.m. Saturday deadline across the NFL.

Here is my final prediction for which Giants players will make the roster, which will get a visit from the Turk, and who will wind up on the practice squad:

Webb's summer has been wildly inconsistent with some pretty high highs (his performance against the Detroit Lions), with some fairly low valleys (an interception riddled stretch of practices and lackluster showing against the Browns in the exhibition opener).
