One of the bigger decisions for the New York Giants this offseason was the choice to not franchise tag Landon Collins. The All-Pro safety thus tested free agency, eventually signing a six-year, $84 million deal with the Washington Redskins in March. Collins will now perform in a secondary that also includes All-Pro cornerback Josh Norman.
In an interview this week with Chris Lingebach of 106.7 The Fan, Collins discussed disappointment due to landing on the injured reserve list the last two seasons. He missed the final game of the 2017 season with a broken forearm, and then missed the final four games of 2018 with a partially torn labrum.
