According to NJ.com's Dan Duggan, former New York Giants cornerback Valentino Blake is announcing his retirement.
CB Valentino Blake, who left the Giants during camp for personal reasons and was released on Saturday, is retiring, per source.

The Giants signed Blake this offseason to be a depth option behind Eli Apple, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Janoris Jenkins at cornerback.
But his time with the team didn't last very long after they placed him on the exempt/left squad list a couple of weeks ago due to personal issues.
