Rumors started swirling this week that former New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney was walking away from football to pursue a music career. But the former first-round pick didn’t waste much time setting the record straight.
Toney responded Friday with a blunt message on his Instagram story:
“Goofies on the net hollerin I’m retiring. Just want klout.”
The speedy wideout, who was drafted by the Giants in 2021, has had a rollercoaster of an NFL career so far. After his stint in New York, Toney went on to win a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs — though injuries and inconsistency have kept him from truly finding his stride.
