With the No. 2 overall selection, the G-Men could go in a few different directions. Those choices have been written about repeatedly.
In one respect, it’s great to be general manager Dave Gettleman. He has the future of an NFL franchise in the palm of his hands. Conversely, he probably hasn’t gotten much sleep over the past few weeks. That’s life in the fast lane.
Face it, by blowing this high draft pick, the franchise will be set back indefinitely.
No pressure though.
Believe it or not, there is one person who has more riding on this draft than Gettleman.
