For millions , he was an NFL legend and a fixture in the broadcast booth during “Monday Night Football,” but we just called him dad, husband and best friend. While Frank Gifford lived much of his life in the public eye, we wanted to share a little bit more about his personal side — that part of Frank that made him so special to us.
KLG: He really was the most grateful human being I’ve ever met. Perfect example is we go out to eat a lot — Mama doesn’t cook much. We loved going to restaurants, and from the day I met Frank, he would always tip twice.
