Flowers was helped off the field early in the third quarter. Justin Pugh moved from left guard to left tackle, and John Jerry moved into the lineup at left guard. The only reserve lineman left on today's active roster is Dallas Reynolds.
Giants' head coach Tom Coughlin had spoken glowing of Flowers' toughness during the week.
