Eli Manning teamed up with Make-A-Wish Foundation

Former New York Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning is still doing great things off the field now that his football career is over after teaming up with Make-A-Wish New Jersey.

Manning accepted $10,000 on behalf of Tackle Kids Cancer (TKC), which was in honor of 2 1/2-year-old Penelope Lindsay of Garfield.

Unfortunately, Penny developed stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma just last summer and after an eight month long battle, she unfortunately passed away.

“She was perfect,” said Penny’s parents, Cassandra Izquierdo and Jack Lindsay, per mycentraljersey.com.

Manning expressed his condolences to the family and also thanked them for “their dedication and selflessness.
