PHILADELPHIA — As soon as word came down Eli Manning was in this week and Daniel Jones was hurt, and out, it was natural to think about the change in quarterback and wonder how it affects the Giants’ offensive line.
Jones, 22, is far more mobile and athletic than Manning and has often used his legs to get out of trouble in his 10 starts. Still, Jones was sacked 33 times this season before he went down last week against the Packers with a high ankle sprain. Manning has been sacked that often in an entire season only twice in his 16 years with the Giants.
