He has followed the Deflategate story just like everyone else, but with a more personal interest than most. After all, Eli Manning makes his living throwing a football and has forged his NFL and Giants legacy by outdueling Tom Brady not once, but twice, in Super Bowl triumphs.
Manning was not shocked to hear Brady will be suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season, but he was saddened.
“I kind of know what you know and seen some of the reports, what’s been written in the paper, and obviously it didn’t look good,” Manning said Monday night at a Guiding Eyes For The Blind event in White Plains.
