DT Damon Harrison joins Giants new-look D-Line

1. Damon Harrison originally made the Jets’ opening roster as an undrafted rookie out of William Penn University (Iowa) in 2012. Harrison has played in 53 games with 48 starts over four seasons, recording 193 tackles (12 for loss), 1.5 sacks, seven passes defensed and a forced fumble.

2. Harrison started every game for the Jets from 2013-15, a span in which the defense finished third, fifth and second against the run. Only the Seahawks (4,234) allowed fewer rushing yards than the Jets (4,236) over the last three seasons, a difference of two yards.

3. Overall, the Jets finished 11th, sixth and fourth in total yards allowed over Harrison’s three years as a starter.
