What a waste. What a shame. What an opportunity missed.
By now you surely know the NFL has been spared what would have been the most unnecessary sequel since “Godfather 3” — Deflategate II, Electric Boogaloo.
It seems that a couple of the footballs that Giants defenders carried with them to the sidelines last Sunday at Heinz Field felt suspiciously fluffy, puffy, or however footballs that aren’t properly inflated are supposed to feel.
The Giants sent those balls to the NFL for inspection following their 24-14 loss to the Steelers. There was apparently no official complaint made, but the league did investigate the delinquent balls.
