Davis Webb got a new job Tuesday, and he did not even have to look for a new place to live.
The Jets signed the former Giants quarterback to their practice squad two days after Big Blue shockingly cut him. Webb signed with the Jets in the morning and was on the practice field a few hours later.
On Sunday, the Giants informed Webb, whom they selected in the third round of the 2017 draft, that they were letting him go. It was a surprise because Webb was expected to be Eli Manning’s backup this year.
