New York Giants’ wide receiver Darius Slayton has shown some signs over his first two years in the NFL that he could possibly become a very good player as time goes on.
Slayton has the explosiveness to take the top off of opposing defenses, but didn’t shine a lot last season after he was essentially New York’s new number one receiver with Golden Tate being phased out.
When looking back at last season I think it’s fair to say that Slayton isn’t a number one receiver and that can always change of course. But the addition of Kenny Golladay will take a lot of attention away from Slayton and give him some favorable matchups in 2021.
