I’ve been as doom and gloom as anyone over the past few weeks; some of that could be overreaction, while it also could be that a lot of what I’m saying could actually be true. However, one thing anyone should be able to agree on after watching the New York Giants in 2019, is that Daniel Jones has all the tools and moxie to lead this team to greener pastures.
Many were beginning to get down on ‘Danny Dimes’ in the midst of the team’s three-game losing streak – even more so when he had a fumble returned for a touchdown in the opening minutes against Detroit this past Sunday – but even during the worst moments of his rookie campaign, Jones has always looked like he belongs on an NFL football field.
