For six seasons Daniel Jones had New York Giants fans believing only one thing could have been true. All of the critics were right back during draft time.
Jones simply wasn't good. He wasn't good enough to be a starting quarterback. That was the narrative and, for the vast majority of those six seasons, Jones proved it right. There was no righting all of his wrongs, especially not the mistakes he made under pressure.
Oddly enough, Jones is now thriving as the starting quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts. One week had eyebrows raised, but it was just one game.
