Giants fans that have been clamoring for their sixth overall pick to start have finally gotten their wish, albeit in a preseason affair. The rookie signal caller will start the team’s preseason finale in New England on Thursday. While the game will be played against mostly fringe competition, it will be interesting to see how Jones looks when he gets the ball right out of the gate.
It’s highly unlikely that even one more dynamic preseason performance could put Jones on the radar to start week one against Dallas, but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think his play will factor in down the line.
