The older brother of Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins is being sought for questioning by the Bergen County prosecutor’s office as a person of interest in the death of Roosevelt Rene, Ontario County (N.Y.) district attorney James Ritts said Wednesday.
Rene’s body was found Tuesday in the Fair Lawn, New Jersey, home of the Giants player.
Ritts said William Jenkins, 34, was taken into custody at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday in Ontario County, near Rochester, on a parole violation. Ritts said William Jenkins is being held in Ontario County jail, where he’ll await likely extradition by authorities in New Jersey.
