As a rookie in 2020, linebacker Carter Coughlin helped out the New York Giants’ defense and played pretty well at times. Now it looks like he might be changing positions.
During Thursday’s OTA session, Coughlin was seen working with the inside linebackers instead of the outside linebackers, according to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record.
With Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines coming back from injury as well as the additions of Elerson Smith, Azeez Ojulari and Ryan Anderson, I think it might be difficult for Coughlin to make the Giants’ 53-man roster this year.
