Before we even get into what he’s done for the New York Giants, let’s look back at what happened with the Minnesota Vikings last season. Remember, the Vikes went into the season with Sam Bradford as their starting quarterback. After a great first game with the team, Bradford injured his knee and by October, he was lost for the entire season.
Back-up quarterback Case Keenum took over for Bradford and had great success. In addition, the Vikings lost running back Dalvin Cook, after he had his own great start as a rookie. They were fortunate that Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon stepped in nicely as replacements.
