When the New York Giants added rookie free agent running back Dante Miller to their 90-man roster during the 2024 offseason, there was a mix of excitement and curiosity.
Excitement because there are not many human beings who have run 4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Curiosity because Miller was a mystery. He played sparingly during a five-year college career at Columbia and South Carolina and had just one productive season. That was 2021-22 at Columbia, where he ran 145 times for 814 yards (5.6 yards per carry) with 4 touchdowns.
The Giants took a long look at Miller last preseason.
