Some officially licensed replica rings can go as high as $10,000, which is a significant burden for some fans. That much cheaper alternative you found online? It's fake.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced it had seized a shipment of 108 counterfeit Super Bowl rings from various teams in the NFL that would have a a market value of more than $1 million.
The package arrived from Hong Kong June 18, and CBP officers inspected the box and questioned its authenticity.
