Broncos planning to make one more QB trade after Joe Flacco deal

One of the top free-agent quarterbacks from last year’s class is now available again.

With Joe Flacco set to become their starting quarterback when his trade from the Ravens becomes official, the Broncos are expected to shop Case Keenum, NFL Network reported Wednesday.

The 30-year-old Keenum signed a two-year, $36 million contract with Denver last March, but struggled to take command of the offense in his first season. Starting all 16 games, he completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 3,890 yards, 18 touchdowns and 15 interceptions as the Broncos went 6-10.

Keenum is owed $7 million in guaranteed money in 2019, making him an expensive — and unlikely at that cost — backup.
