The NFL dreams of up to 36 players, or at least their chances of making the Giants' roster are about to come to an end, as the 2018 team officially takes shape over the next two days.
With the NFL preseason officially over, the last hurdle for general manager Dave Gettleman, head coach Pat Shurmur, and the front office to clear before the regular season begins is to trim the 90-man roster to 53 by the 4:00 p.m. deadline on Saturday, Sept. 1.
