Lawrence Tynes joined the Giants prior to the 2007 season in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, for whom he played three seasons. In six years with the Giants, he scored 586 points, the second-highest total in franchise history behind Pete Gogolak’s 646 points (despite missing almost the entire 2008 season with a knee injury). Tynes’ 59 postseason points are a Giants record. Tynes twice won NFC Championship Games with overtime field goals, the first a 47-yarder in frigid Green Bay on Jan.
