The New york Giants may have their franchise quarterback in Jaxson Dart and a somewhat enticing collection of young skill position players when healthy, but the fact they would have the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft of the season ended today is a major indictment of Joe Schoen and recently fired head coach Brian Daboll.
The Giants have the luxury of some very clear needs that need to be addressed. The offensive line needs more than just Andrew Thomas to become a high-end unit, the lack of development from Deonte Banks has made the secondary a work in progress, and the linebacker room is lacking that one star who can take this defense to the next level
